**You are bidding on a new American Iron Horse oil tank that was originally for the Slammer and Texas Chopper. This oil tank can also be used on custom bikes with a 280 rear tire and a right hand drive. You will need to decide if this will work for your custom application. Please read our terms listed below and bid accordingly.
**We received this in a dealer buy out and all of the information we have on it is listed here. In the last picture you can see the side of the box this was in with the part number Q11001405. We found this oil tank on the J&P Cycles website, unfortunately due to eBay policies we can not provide a direct link in the auction, which is where we acquired the applications listed above. We have no way to verify this is correct therefore we suggest you compare the measurements below to your motorcycle to help determine if this will fit your model. The side of the box also states that this is for the 280 RHD. We believe that the 280 refers to the size of the rear tire, which also explains why it is so wide at the rear. We believe RHD is for Right Hand Drive, which is what all American Ironhorse bikes were. We believe this will allow it to be used for custom bikes with a 280 rear wheel and a right side drive. Consider all of this before bidding.
**For those of you who want to adapt this to a chopper frame, we did several measurement. Using the third picture as reference, the back of the tank is a little less than 15" wide.Using the 4th picture as reference the bottom of the tanki is a little less than 9" front to back. Using the first picure as reference the heighth of the body at the center of the front of the tank is a little more than 5 1/2" tall not counting the cap.
**This tank is new and in good shape. It is primer finished and will need to be sanded and painted before mounting. There are some scuffs and scratches on this along with some chips. There is also some surface rust on this from sitting in the warehouse. From what we can tell this will all sand out when you are prepping this for paint, but we have not tried it so we do not know for certain. Please keep all of this in mind when bidding.

(not a post office box) for us to ship to. If you pay via Paypal we will

Orders are processed and shipped within one to three business days after receipt of payment.
Once your item is shipped, you will receive an email from the carrier with your tracking information. Please do not contact us asking if something has shipped until at least 5 business days after payment is made. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email in that time then contact us.
Combined Shipping
: We have to manually process any combine shipping. After receiving this item, you have 14 days to inspect it. If for whatever reason you are dissatisfied with the product, you are entitled to return it as outlined in our policy below:
(1) Our customer service email address is included with your package (on the sheet included with your invoice), you will have to email that address within 14 days of receiving the item. We cannot post the address here because of Ebay's rules.
(2) The item is to be received back in the same condition as when we shipped it. Please look at the pictures in the ad to compare to the item you receive. If your item is in different condition than pictured, please contact Customer Service via e-mail because it is most likely an insurance claim to settle with the shipping carrier. Please retain your original shipping material, including the box in which the item arrived. If it has sustained shipping damage, a carrier claim needs to be filed; contact Customer Service via e-mail in order to process the claim.
(3) If the item arrives as described in the ad, with no damage from shipping, a restock fee that covers processing and eBay fees will be deducted from your refund.
(4) You will be responsible for all shipping costs both ways. You will also be responsible for insuring the package when you send it back to us to ensure that we safely receive it. We do not refund your shipping/insurance costs.
(5) If your item arrives and is
MATERIALLY DIFFERENT
than the description in the ad, please contact Customer Service to receive a full refund on the item and on shipping charges.
